TAMU WOODCUTS
Panorama of the woodcuts depicting the history and traditions of Texas A&M University located in the Memorial Student Center (MSC). Reflections of the chandelier's lights from the Flag room can be seen in the video and as can often be heard in the MSC, relaxing piano music wafting of the ears of all who come to visit.

    It's a '41 with a '42 painted grill and cab, later steering wheel. Originally a flatbed, running boards are 2 pairs of shorter flatbed boards spliced together. Was originally used by the Salida Transfer Company offloading and delivering goods from the train yard. 216, unsynchronized 4 on the floor.

      Bike and motorcycle chains, trailer hitches and the paper towels help start damp brush piles on fire. Also, used motor oil mixed two parts diesel to one part motor oil, makes pretty good wood preservative when sprayed onto a trailer deck (top and bottom). In the summertime, the wood really soaks it up.

    I love my Kobalt Pole Saw - 80-volt - 5-ah battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Pole Saw. No cable. Using an Oregon Bar and Chain. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees in the woods of our 20-acre farm. I carry it all over our woods and the battery lasts a long time. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front.

    • @JimThomasOutdoors

      I do not know if there is a specified torque for them.. I just snug them down good and tight - but not so tight that they risk being sheared off from over tightening.

    So, to be clear… the back seal should not be touching the bearing? Just flush with the edge?

    • @JimThomasOutdoors
      @JimThomasOutdoors 3 місяці тому

      The seals are circular cups that hold the bearings like a racetrack holds a heard of racing horses. It also seals the grease inside the hub.

    • @NeonTuner524
      @NeonTuner524 3 місяці тому

      @@JimThomasOutdoors yup. Thank you. But should it be pressed all the way up against the back seal…or just flush with the back of the hub?

    • @JimThomasOutdoors
      @JimThomasOutdoors 3 місяці тому

      The back seal will be inserted into the back of the hub until it is flush with the hub, but the back bearing (small end pointing inward) will end up sitting inside the back seal. You can lay your back seal on the table then lay the back bearing into the seal and then place the hub on top and tap the hub down until the back seal is flush with the hub, but it is easier to see what you are doing if you do it like in the video.@@NeonTuner524

    Mmm, very good and clear, but if the bearing races are in any way damaged, they have to be knocked out and replaced.
